Philosophy

Tröstler & Oberbauer GmbH employs 47 people - ten of them in work preparation and administration, all others in production and quality assurance. Our team is characterized by a reliable way of working and great expertise.

Since its foundation in 1984, our family business has combined common sense with a good dose of enthusiasm. The driving force behind our progress is our great enthusiasm for solving technical problems and our entrepreneurial courage. To ensure that we can produce absolutely high-quality work in our industry, our apprentices - but also committed, technically gifted career changers - receive intensive training in which they pass through various stages. The basis for this is the job profile of the machinist.

New skilled workers are trained until they can independently take on the demanding assignments that our industry entails. Every year, we visit trade fairs and analyse the needs of our customers to keep ourselves at the cutting edge of technology and develop our innovative strength further.

Training

Growing with the tasks

It is an integral part and a success factor for our company to train our junior staff. The team usually includes one to three trainees who undergo training as cutting machine operators and are typically taken on afterwards.

The focus is on the handling of materials and auxiliary materials, the evaluation of technical drawings, the planning, programming and monitoring of work processes (CNC-controlled machine tools or manufacturing systems), the production of workpieces, quality assurance as well as the maintenance of operating equipment and the documentation of work.
